Privacy Policy

Planvori is a local event discovery service operated by Selvora. This policy describes the current pilot, including the preview previously called Nearweek.

Information in this pilot

Saved event identifiers and your last selected neighbourhood are stored in your browser’s local storage. Older versions may also have saved organizer drafts there. The event submission form now sends the event title, public source link, selected area and any optional date, venue, price or notes to our server. A confirmation checkbox records your acknowledgement. Submissions are held privately in Vercel Blob storage for review, correction, duplicate detection and possible publication of the event listing. Pending submissions are not displayed publicly. We do not ask for an email address in this form. Keep the submission reference if you need to contact us. Search and filter controls run in your browser. There is currently no visitor account, payment checkout or active Instagram/Facebook account connection in this pilot.

Event sources

Listings contain event titles, dates, venues, prices, organizer names and links from public event sources. Some images are illustrative rather than official event posters. A public post is not treated as permission to republish its images. We do not seek private profiles, private messages or nonpublic attendee lists.

Hosting and external services

This version of the site is hosted by Vercel. Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the service, under their own practices. Remote fonts and images may send your IP address and browser information to their providers when loaded. Following an event or social link opens a third-party service governed by its own policy. Providers may process information outside Canada.

Contact and purposes

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your request, correct listings, handle removal requests and maintain service security. Do not send passwords, access tokens, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. We do not sell personal information or use this pilot for targeted advertising.

Submission security

To limit repeated submissions, the server uses a short-lived time window and a hash derived from the request IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses inside event submissions. Vercel may separately keep technical logs. We store source links but do not automatically fetch or extract their contents when you submit.

Retention and choices

Local browser data stays until you remove it or clear site data. Pending submissions and security markers are retained only as needed for review and abuse prevention; a removal request can identify a submission by its reference or source URL. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting logs are controlled by the hosting provider. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we control, or to raise a privacy concern.

Future integrations

Instagram/Facebook discovery and organizer connections are under development and are not currently active for visitors. Before enabling new collection, we will update this notice and explain the information requested, purposes and choices. This page does not claim Meta approval or unrestricted access to social content.
